Lovely to have you here,
My name is Kristine, and I am the hands and heart behind Madrona Holistics. This work was born from a deep reverence for the wisdom of our bodies and an undeniable devotion to supporting new families. Becoming a mother has been the most humbling and transformative initiation of my life, and it is from this lived experience that I feel called to hold tender, supportive space for women and families during this season.

I began my formal training in my hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan, where I studied massage therapy and chiropractic assistance at Blue Heron Academy of Healing Arts and Sciences in 2016. Shortly after, I followed a lifelong pull to the West Coast, where I found home, community, love—and eventually, my own growing family. During my childbearing years, I slowed down and listened more deeply to what true health and vitality meant for myself and my children. That listening guided me back to bodywork, not just as a skill, but as a pathway for caring, connection, and meaningful support.

During this season, I worked alongside a variety of bodyworkers, lactation specialists, physical therapists, and functional nutritionists. What began as a personal healing cocoon slowly blossomed into a specialized passion for service. In 2025, this calling led me to attend my first practitioner training in Infant and Pediatric Craniosacral and Myofascial Therapy with the Milne Institute. I then went on to complete Lori Hendrickson's CST and Myofascial Therapy course and am a provider in her database. Currently I am pursuing Lactation Counselor training through Childbirth International.

Traditionally, bodywork has been a routine and integral part of health, yet it is only one piece of a larger puzzle—especially through the lens of matrescence, where nutrition, space-holding, and community support are also foundational. For me, weaving bodywork with postpartum doula care is a form of medicine, and it is my hope that this offering, along with amplification of additional resources, serves as medicine for my community as well.

Our Services
Therapeutic Massage
Massage is one of the oldest forms of healthcare, used to restore balance within the body. It supports the circulatory, lymphatic, musculoskeletal, and nervous systems—along with the body’s innate capacity to heal. Bodywork is deeply supportive for both babies and adults alike.
Postpartum Doula
As a postpartum doula I am committing to providing physical, emotional, and informational support to families in their childbearing season. I strive to create a nurturing environment inspired by traditional wisdom with modern applications.
Lactation Counseling
Alongside bodywork and postpartum support, lactation counseling is available as an optional add-on to help clarify and work toward your breastfeeding goals. My approach is rooted in physiology, evidence-based care, and honoring the unique constitution of each mother-baby dyad.
